Like the prodigal son, we are repenting and coming home. Starting slow and small after attempting a very large project and failing to follow through, this little man now understands the true hardship of game development.
Ironically , my very first game was a tic-tac-toe game developed in C++ on a PowerPC Mac in 1999 . It is, and has been for a very long time, the ONLY game I ever finished. The second game was a dungeon crawler that would have a dungeon maker. Though I worked on that project for a few months, it never got to far. Fast forward a couple decades later, I attempted to make a top down rogue like game that actually got pretty far, but still didn't follow through. The idea wasn't bad, my game development muscles were too weak.
Now, its time to start with just the bar, and start slowly adding weights, one game at a time
